In brief: what to know before you go
Il Giorno della Santarosa celebrates the signature pastry of Conca dei Marini with an evening of tastings in the village. The third edition brings together signature cuisine, pastry, music, and fundraising in support of the Presidio Ospedaliero Costa d’Amalfi di Castiglione and additional social, cultural, and charitable initiatives.
Local Tradition
The story of the sfogliatella Santarosa continues
In the past, at the end of August, the abbess of the convent in Conca dei Marini would gift the sfogliatella Santarosa to the townspeople to celebrate Santa Rosa da Lima, to whom the cloistered convent was dedicated.
La Compagnia della Santarosa APS and the Municipality of Conca dei Marini revive this tradition with an evening that showcases the gastronomic excellence of the region. The brochure announces 18 Michelin-starred chefs, 10 master pastry makers, two pizzaioli, and four renowned wineries, along with coffee and limoncello.
Attending means offering concrete support to the Presidio Ospedaliero Costa d’Amalfi di Castiglione. Funds raised will also help promote other initiatives of social, cultural, and charitable value.
The event is promoted by La Compagnia della Santarosa APS and the Municipality of Conca dei Marini. Official materials also reference the project “MERAVIGLIE: I Sentieri dei Sensi,” part of the program “Le stagioni della Campania from June 2026 to May 2027″—Strategic Plan for Culture and Tourism 2026.
