A visit to Cantina del Vesuvio brings together landscape, winemaking, food and local culture in one of Campania’s most distinctive wine regions.

The winery is located in Trecase, on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and near the archaeological ruins of Pompeii. Here, vineyards grow in volcanic soil and produce Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio wines.

Depending on the package purchased, the experience includes a guided walk through the vines, a visit to the winemaking and ageing areas, a guided tasting and a lunch prepared with Campanian specialities.

What is the difference between the Classic and Superior tastings?

The main difference is the wine selection. The Superior option features wines made from selected grapes, with greater structure and a longer ageing period. Both options include the tour, wine tasting and lunch.

Is the tour private?

The Classic tasting, Superior tasting and cooking class may be shared with other guests, generally in small groups. Only the Winemaker’s House Lunch guarantees a completely private tour and lunch.

How long does the experience last?

The Classic and Superior tastings and Winemaker’s House Lunch last approximately 2 hours. The cooking class lasts around 3.5 to 4 hours.

Is transportation included?

No. The options bookable through the widget include only the experience at the winery. You can request a private car or minivan transfer through the WhatsApp form.

Can I combine the winery with Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius?

Yes. Amalfi Coast Lovers also offers a complete day trip from Salerno including Pompeii, the Gran Cono of Mount Vesuvius and a winery stop with wine tasting and lunch.

Are vegetarian or vegan options available?

What is the cancellation policy?

Small-group tastings offer a full refund in case of cancellation. The cooking class and private lunch may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time; cancellations after this deadline are non-refundable. Final terms are displayed during booking.
